The Kalispell City Planning Board on Tuesday night recommended approval of a Kalispell Regional Medical Center day care and a subdivision near Three Mile Drive.
The board recommended that the City Council approve a conditional use permit to allow the Flathead Hospital Development Company LLC to move Kid Kare, its day-care center, from Conway Drive to 66 Claremont St.
The new location would accommodate 94 children.
The board also recommended approval of a request from Touchstone LLC to zone approximately 50 acres of land as urban single-family residential when the land is annexed.
The Mountain Vista project is on the northeast corner of Three Mile Drive and Farm to Market Road.
