George St. Sauver Jr., 84

George St. Sauver Jr., former detective for the St. Paul Police Dept. in St. Paul, Minn. died on Jan. 17, 2005. He was 84.

George was proud of his family, his full career as a detective on the St. Paul Police Department, his service in the Navy during World War II, and his second career as a Montana cherry grower upon retirement.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be missed by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by son, Bruce "Herm."

George is survived by wife, Irene, of White Bear Township, Minn.; children, Gail and husband Chuck Gregory, Dennis and wife Micki St. Sauver, Debbie and Greg Roy, Mark and Rachel St. Sauver, and Mary Kay Grant; grandchildren, Dawn, Chris, Jennifer, Amy, Jerry, Nicki, Angie, Kristen, Mallory, Katrina, Jake, Joe and Brooke; great-grandchildren, Mackenna, Wyatt and Noah; and brother, Stan.

A very special thanks to the Maplewood Care Center.

Private services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in White Bear Township.
