Alice G. Buck, 85

Alice G. Buck, 85, passed away on Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at Heritage Place in Kalispell.

She was born April 17, 1919, in Mason City, Iowa, to William F. and Gertrude (Johnson) Wilson. She graduated from high school in Aberdeen, S.D.

She married Wesley Buck on May 23, 1942, in Polson. She worked at Kalispell Regional Medical Center for about 18 years in housekeeping and as housekeeping supervisor.

She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 234 and a member of the Eagles Camping Club.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wesley; and one brother, Robert Wilson.

She is survived by two sons, Clifford J. Buck and wife, Mary, of Stockton, Calif., and Wesley Thomas Buck of Kalispell; two sisters, Edna May Colville and husband, Dick, and Martha Odegarck and husband, Clayton, all of Arizona; with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A vigil service for Alice Buck will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, at Johnson Mortuary Chapel with Deacon Fred Topp officiating. Committal will follow at Glacier Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at the Eagles Club at First Avenue and First Street in Kalispell. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Johnson Mortuary Chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Mortuary and Crematory.
