Dance to the sounds of The Taildraggers

Legendary band Too Slim & The Taildraggers bring a unique mix of blues, roots rock, rockabilly and surf music to the Eagles in Kalispell on Jan. 28 at 9 p.m.

The three-piece band from Seattle has been playing for 20 years, and has developed a national and international following. The band has recently released its most ambitious album, "Tales of Sin and Redemption" on the VU Records Label.

The band's live sets are legendary, featuring the blazing guitar solos and slide work of Tim "Too Slim" Langford. The powerhouse rhythm section of drummer Zachariah Timothy Copper and bass man Dave Nordstrom propels the trio.

Too Slim & The Taildraggers average over 200 gigs a year, and have shared the stage with Red Nugent, Robert Cray, Los Lobos, Norton Buffalo, .38 Special, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, and many more.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door and are available at both Sportsman & Ski Haus locations, at Top 40 Video in Polson, Glacier Wallflower in Columbia Falls, Electric Avenue Books in Bigfork, and Sunshine Tapes and CDs and the Eagles in Kalispell.

Doors open at the Eagles at 8 p.m.
