| January 22, 2005 1:00 AM

Flathead County Sheriff's Office jailed a man on a half-dozen charges after a traffic stop at about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Deputies stopped Anthony Dorsey, 39, on Montana 206 and U.S. 2 and learned there was a warrant for him from Columbia Falls. According to the sheriff's report, Dorsey was placed in a Columbia Falls police patrol car and he kicked out a window. He was transferred to a deputy's car and he continued kicking. When he was taken out so officers could secure his feet, he slipped and fell. He said his back was broken in the fall. A deputy took him to the hospital, where doctors found that his back was not broken, so he went to jail. He's charged with two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of resisting arrest, theft and disorderly conduct.

On Thursday and again a Friday, a man allegedly violated a restraining order by contacting a woman he shouldn't.

A man reported that he was hurt in a domestic brawl; officers determined that a moratorium on alcohol would help both people involved.

A driver who was stopped after going 100 mph on U.S. 93 near Fender's turned out to have a warrant for his arrest in Lake County.

A .44-caliber handgun stolen two months ago from a vehicle in Evergreen was reported Friday. Power tools were stolen from a garage on Patrick Creek Road. Chain saws were stolen on Harmony Road.

Deputies were summoned to the third floor of the justice center when a woman started yelling for officers. She said she was being harassed.
