A man tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at Super One in Kalispell. The man was arrested.

A woman reported that a vehicle without any license plates was following her. She was worried that her ex-husband had recently been released from prison. The person following her turned out to be a detective investigating her disability claim.

A man was reported screaming for help and howling like a dog close to the trestle on Voerman Road. Deputies discovered the man had been bitten by a dog but he refused any medical assistance.

Black ice was blamed for a head-on accident on Highway 209 early Saturday morning near Bigfork. Two people were transported to the hospital.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Toftum Lane Friday. Teenagers were getting rowdy. A girl had a bloody nose. No adults were at the residence. The party people left in cars.

Child abuse was reported on East Evergreen. A woman alleged that her child had a swollen eye and finger mark bruises when she picked the child up from her sister-in-law.

A break-in was reported on Montana 82 near Somers. The resident found 60 to 70 DVDs, a DVD player and other items were missing.
