Kalispell fire department and ambulance had 13 calls. The fire was out at the Elks hall when they got there, but there was a lot of smoke in the building. An older woman who fell at Herberger's Sunday morning went to the hospital by ambulance.

ALERT ambulance went out to the Hungry Horse gravel pit for a patient whose face was bloodied after taking a handle bar in the stomach.

Somers fire department was called when a front-end loader caught fire early Sunday, even though it was not running.
