Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a call from a Martin City woman who was skeptical about a man who claimed to be from her bank. She didn't fall for it when he called her Monday to say he needed to put money in her account that had been taken out by mistake, and he needed her account number to do it. When she refused to give it to him, he swore at her and told her he was going to close her account and sue her.

On Bierney Creek Road, kids threw rocks and snowballs at cars, and they looked to one caller just like the same kids who threw a boulder at him last year.

Evergreen fire department and Office of Emergency Services went to Sunset Drive on Sunday, where people in a home were evacuated because of chemical fumes coming in through the bathroom. Paint thinner was suspected, as someone nearby had earlier painted a horse trailer.

A garage was broken into on Nicholson Drive, where vandalism was reported the previous day.

Deputies were called to the Blue Moon bar, where a witness said a man tried to grab a woman out of the parking lot. Deputies found the man in Whitefish. He was cited, but was not arrested.

Keys left in a 1997 Jeep Cherokee at Sliters Park were an open invitation to thieves who apparently took the vehicle and crashed it at Marina Cay.

A man dressed in black had equilibrium challenges behind the Garden Bar in Bigfork, where he could reportedly almost not walk. He decided to sleep in his vehicle for the evening.

A woman is pretty sure she knows who took her coat out of her car Friday and she wants it back.

On Conrad Drive, vandals ripped flags off mailboxes and took a construction laser and ski goggles out of a vehicle. A checkbook, CD and other items were taken from a car on Nicholson Drive.

A sexual assault reported near Columbia Falls involves two young children.
