Eloise Emma Feasel, 86, a resident of Immanuel Lutheran Home, "passed into the arms of Jesus" Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in HealthCenter Northwest in Kalispell.

She was born Nov. 17, 1918, in Evansville, Ind., to Rudolph C. and Anna Bertha (Dremstedt) Bergdolt.

Eloise was the youngest of three children. Some of her fondest memories were of growing up on the family farm with her siblings in rural Vanderburgh County, Indiana. At the age of 16 her family moved to Evansville where she graduated from high school in 1936.

In 1946, she married Harry Frederick Feasel of Columbus, Ohio. They later divorced. They had one child, a daughter, from this union.

During her life and time, Eloise was employed as a secretary and a bookkeeper at a hardware company and a dairy, and then later was an Addressograph operator at a heavy equipment manufacturing company until her retirement.

In 1990, Eloise moved to Kalispell, to be near her only daughter and her daughter's family. She resided in Treasure State apartments until 2000 when she entered the Immanuel Lutheran Home.

She will be fondly remembered for her homemade cookies and coffee cakes, her willingness to help anyone with a need and crocheting afghans -one of which was a full-size American flag - for each of her four grandsons and for her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Elmer; her sister, Marie; and a great-grandchild.

Eloise is survived by her daughter, Donna Waltman and husband, Michael, of Kalispell; four grandsons, Richard Waltman and wife, Jenny, Steve Waltman and wife, Karlene, Brandon Waltman and wife, Carree, and Ethan Waltman; eight great-grandchildren, Brandon and Austin Krick, and Jacob, Matthew, Chasen, Sierra, Atlanta and Hunter Waltman.

Funeral services for Eloise Emma Feasel will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Central Bible Church. Burial will follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. prior to service time at the church.

The family suggests memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Home, Bratsburg Wing, 185 Crestline Ave., Kalispell, MT 59901.

Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Mortuary and Crematory.
