Flathead County Sheriff

An unlocked vehicle reads as "Help Yourself" to thieves and they did just that around the valley. Thefts reported to Flathead County Sheriff's Office included $1,500 worth of CDs stolen on South Cedar Drive, money and cigarettes removed from a vehicle on Birch Drive, and wallets that went to new owners from East Cottonwood Drive and Alberta Street.

A woman reported that a man violates a restraining order by breaking into her home, taking things, and tampering with her car. The back door was jimmied on a home on Tahoe Drive.

A dog killed chickens on Anderson Lane.

After someone reported screaming at a home on Montana 35, deputies investigated and wound up charging a man with domestic abuse. The same result happened on McCaffery Road after two calls; one involved a report of a knife threat. Other domestic disturbances were reported on U.S. 93 South, over custody, and on Harmony Road, over laundry.

Money was taken from a home on Montana 206, where an intruder went in through a window.

A resident on Crestview Drive is apprehensive about late-night knocks on the door that have happened twice now.
