Lucia J. Bojorques-Elgas, 67

Lucia J. Bojorques-Elgas of Riverton, Wyo., formerly of Kalispell, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 25, 2005, at Wind River Healthcare in Riverton. She was 67 years old.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services and inurnment will be in Tempe, Ariz., at a later date.

Lucia Joan Bojorques was born March 2, 1937, in Tempe, the daughter of Joseph Bojorques and Edna Lucille Sussex. She attended schools in Arizona and California and studied nursing at Arizona State University.

On April 26, 1956, she married Donald Elgas in Tempe.

Ms. Bojorques was a wife, homemaker, and mother of 12 children. She lived most of her life in Tempe, moved to Kalispell, and then to Wyoming to be closer to family.

She was a member of the Catholic faith.

Her family said Ms. Bojorques enjoyed garage sales, flea markets, jazz concerts and family gatherings.

Survivors include sons, Michael Elgas of Sumner, Wash., Mark Elgas of Glendale, Ariz., Dennis Elgas of Bozeman, Danny Elgas of Burke, Va., and David Elgas of Salem, Ore.; daughters, Liz Toay of Riverton, Margaret Elgas of Kalispell, Mary Douzenis of Rock Springs, Wyo., Melinda Kiefer of Billings, Heather Nguyen of Portland, Jeanne McEwen of Salem, and Vanessa Kiefer of Joliet; 24 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; and a granddaughter, Lindsay Elgas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home of Riverton.
