Whitefish police

| January 27, 2005 1:00 AM

Whitefish police went to Houston Point Drive Wednesday to help a hapless garbage-truck driver. He was reportedly trying to get up an icy hill on a private driveway when his truck slid sideways and then turned over on the passenger side. The vehicle reportedly came to rest on top of the home's electrical box, the phone box, and the cable box. It also damaged two trees and some decorations. Its final act of destruction was possible damage to the driveway when the truck was finally towed away.

A landlord/tenant problem was reported on Fox Farm Drive.

A domestic disturbance was reported on Central Avenue, where no one was arrested.

A police dispatcher took care of a blind dog that a man found disoriented in traffic. The pet's owners gratefully picked up the dog later in the day.
