Assistant fire chief suspended

Kalispell Assistant Fire Chief William "Dee" McCluskey has been put on paid administrative leave following allegations of an incident.

City Manager Jim Patrick declined to give further details on what kind of incident it was or who made the allegations.

The assistant city attorney is investigating the matter.

Personnel actions could be pending and McCluskey will remain on leave until further notice, Patrick said.
