An eavesdropping mother who heard her teenage daughters making plans thwarted a kegger on Swan River Road by alerting the Flathead County Sheriff's Office. Deputies went to the party site, got the names of the would-be revelers and called their parents. The parents then picked up their teens and took them home.

Loose horses were reported on Kokanee Bend and Badrock Drive. The Badrock horses were rounded up by the owner.

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover reported on Cemetery Road, only to find no one around when they and the ambulance arrived.

A report of a drunken driver on Big Mountain Road turned out to be a Christian youth pastor who was quite sober. He said he'd pay more attention to his driving from now on.

Firewood was poached from property along Lupfer Meadows Road.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at Meridian and Two Mile Drive.

At the Kila green-box site, a pickup with a camper shell was heavily vandalized.

Burglars made off with a TV and VCR taken from a trailer used for an office along U.S. 93 South. There was no sign of forced entry.
