The Kalispell Fire Department had 16 calls. One was to a vehicle accident on First Avenue East Friday that injured two people. Evergreen fire department was also called when a man appeared in traffic near Wal-Mart. He was taken to the hospital with chest pain.

ALERT helicopter, the Coram Fire Department, the Hungry Horse Fire Department, the Middle Fork Quick Response Unit, and the Highway Patrol went to an accident on U.S. 2 that injured two people Thursday evening.

ALERT, Columbia Falls fire and ambulance and the Highway Patrol were notified about a vehicle accident that sounded serious but wasn't.

The Creston Fire Department cleaned up a spill of hydraulic oil on U.S. 35 Thursday.

Evergreen, South Kalispell, Smith Valley and West Valley firefighters were called at 1 a.m. Friday with a report of a fire threatening a trailer nearby. It turned out to be a controlled recreational fire.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department went to a fire reported next to a trailer, but it was just a burning debris pile.
