Flathead County Sheriff

| July 16, 2005 1:00 AM

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office assisted animal control with a call to Fairmont Road. It turned out that a report of 100 cats, 12 to 15 dogs, some rabbits and goats there was greatly exaggerated. No citations were issued.

Also overstated was a report of a man going by the name "Mr. Kingdom," who allegedly has a hit list, made death threats, and has hit one boy with an arrow. It turns out to be mostly Internet chatter.

More friction and fractiousness was reported around the valley. A domestic disturbance on Shady Lane led to a DUI arrest. At the Stillwater Bar, a man threatened customers and the bartender. A deputy told a mother that the youngest offender of the day, 4 or 5 years old, faces trouble if he doesn't stop assaulting another child at Little John apartments.

In Kila, a woman reported that a man threw her down and tried to hit her, put a hole in a door and launched her into a seizure when he threatened her with a golf club. The man reportedly fled into the woods. On Valley Road, a man reported being grabbed by the throat and pushed. There was shoving and not cordial conversation on U.S. 2. A threatening call was reported on Sleepy Hollow Road. A man cutting hay said he was threatened by a neighbor. The dispute on Cynthia Drive was between a woman who has told neighbor children to stay off her property and the children who were playing on their property when their ball got loose.

Youths threw rocks at vehicles and people on the highway near Hungry Horse. A driver was reckless and then threw a water bottle at someone's windshield on U.S. 93.

A man in Coon Hollow was concerned about a man in an SUV who appeared to be taking pictures of his children or his house.
