Barnstorming event changed for air show

Jimmy Franklin, a veteran barnstorming pilot, was killed July 10 when two biplanes collided during an air show in central Canada.

Mohr's show will feature his 1943 Stock Stearman PT-17. He's an accomplished pilot with 25,000 hours in the air, show spokesman Carol Edgar said. He began his flying career at age 5, soloed at 14 and built and flew his first helicopter at 17. Today, Mohr is a commercial airline pilot, helicopter pilot and collector of vintage planes.

Today is the last day to get advance tickets for the two-day show planned at Glacier Park International Airport near Kalispell. One-day adult tickets cost $15 and two-day tickets cost $25.
