Peggy Marie-Jean (Burke) Leimkuehler, 27, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2005, in Coram.

Peggy was born in Plentywood, on Dec. 27, 1977, to her father, Dale Burke, and mother, Sharon Suzane Tyler. Peggy enjoyed life. She loved and had a passion for high school sports, basketball being her favorite.

After high school, she attended college in Williston, N.D. She moved to the Flathead Valley in 2000 to be with her family.

She enjoyed working, often working early and late hours without pay to help improve the company she worked for. She loved spending time planting and taking care of plants and flowers. With a passion for interior decorating, there wasn't anything she couldn't do or accomplish.

Peggy was a wonderful mother and loving wife. Always having a thoughtful and kind heart, her beautiful smile and loving touch will remain in our hearts forever and she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Shaun Leimkuehler (29), 19-month-old daughter, Alyssa Ilene Leimkuehler, both of Columbia Falls; father, Dale Burke, mother, Sharon Tyler; brother, Travis Burke of Plentywood; stepmother, Winifred Burke; grandparents, Rosie and Bob Burke; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Debbie Leimkuehler; brother-in-law, Andrew Leimkuehler; sister-in-law, Heather Braswell and her family; uncle, Rich Burke; aunt, Tracie Burke. In addition to her immediate family, Peggy is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 25, at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls, Rev. Darrell Newby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.

A luncheon will follow at her grandparents' house at 3942 Columbia Falls Stage Road.
