The Kalispell Fire Department had 18 calls - five of them for vehicle accidents. Patients went to the hospital from crashes on U.S. 2, where the Evergreen Fire Department assisted, on First Avenue West, and Hart Hill.
Bigfork Fire & Medical, Highway Patrol and the Ferndale Fire Department went to a traffic accident with injuries Tuesday on Montana 209. The crew was needed Wednesday on Montana 35 when someone was kicked by a horse.
The Columbia Falls ambulance went to Lake McDonald Lodge on Tuesday, when someone was hurt in a horse corral.
The Evergreen Fire Department was called Tuesday to Ezy Drive for what turned out to be a recreational fire.
The Whitefish Fire Department checked out a gas smell Wednesday on Spokane Avenue.
