Flathead County Sheriff's Office found some unexpected things on roadways. On South Hilltop Drive, it was a man in a blue truck, stopped in the middle of the road. He was charged with DUI, driving with a revoked license, and having no insurance or registration.

On Montana 40 and U.S. 93, it was a motorcyclist who was found on the ground. He went to North Valley Hospital. Highway patrol will investigate the accident.

A man in a wheelchair was reported in the middle of the road on Montana 35. He got a ride home. There were horses on Whitefish Stage Road and on U.S. 93, south of Lakeside, and a cat that caused a stir after failing to outrun a vehicle in Columbia Heights. One life down, eight to go; the cat survived.

On Foy's Ridge, someone was concerned that a hang glider might have gone down, but he was found to be fine. Same with four people who were late returning from a fishing trip.

A windshield was broken on West Cottonwood Drive. A tire was slashed on First Street Southwest in Hungry Horse. Bolts were loosened on oil pans on a couple of vehicles parked near the weigh station west of Kalispell. The engine of one vehicle blew up before the vandalism was noticed.

A man with three children in the vehicle and a row boat in the back of his truck was charged with DUI on U.S. 2.

A man reported being assaulted at Happy Valley. He went by ambulance to the hospital from Rosewood Drive. Domestic disturbances were reported on North Ferndale Drive and on Cougar Trail.

A green Dodge van reportedly hit a girl on a bike on Airport Road and then left the scene. She wasn't seriously hurt.

A man reportedly used a girl's cell phone to call her father and threaten to rape the girl.

A mixer was stolen from a yard in Bigfork. A burglary was reported in Marion.
