Peggy A. Hall, 83, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2005, at her residence in Kalispell.

She was born on May 6, 1922, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Fred and Ella (Rustad) Johnson. She attended schools in Minneapolis, and graduated from high school in Minneapolis.

On March 3, 1942, she was united in marriage to Donald William "Bill" Hall in Hennepin, Minn. Following Bill's discharge from the U.S. Coast Guard, they moved to Great Falls. They relocated to Kalispell in 1959, when they purchased the bowling alley and Peggy worked as bookkeeper and helped behind the counter as well. They sold the bowling alley in 1973.

Peggy was a homemaker and, above all, a mother. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed following her sons' sports careers. She also loved to cook. She became a resident of Wel-Life Assisted Living in July 2000.

She survived by her children, Fred Hall and his wife, Jan, of Vancouver, Wash., Jerry Hall and his wife, Darla, of Kalispell, and Larry Hall and his wife, Janet, of St. Louis; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services for Peggy Hall will be held 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, at Johnson Mortuary Chapel. There will be no visitation.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to Home Health Options Hospice, 175 Commons Loop, Suite 100, Kalispell, MT 59901.

Johnson Mortuary and Crematory is caring for Peggy's family.
