A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Montana 35 and Montana 206 reportedly injured six people Wednesday morning. At least one child was seriously hurt in the crash.
The collision involved a 1994 Dodge Caravan from Browning. Several people were ejected from the van when it was struck and pushed across the highway.
Among the agencies that responded were the sheriff's office, Bigfork and Columbia Falls ambulances, and ALERT helicopter. Kalispell fire department's ambulances did not respond, saying they were unable to staff the call.
The 7:30 a.m. crash blocked morning rush-hour traffic as emergency vehicles maneuvered through the busy intersection.
There was no immediate information on the cause of the crash or whether either driver was cited.
One person on the scene said the van was attempting to turn at the intersection when it was struck by the other vehicle.
