Kalispell fire department had eight calls. Two were to non-injury accidents. One was to Smith's where an elderly woman suffered medical problems.
Whitefish fire department went to Columbia Avenue where a transformer blew and ignited a pole. The fire department and ambulance went to a fire alarm after midnight on Penny Lane. It was started by burned bacon and no one was hurt.
Bigfork Fire & Medical and Creston fire department were called to Montana 35 Wednesday when a school bus overheated. Bigfork units and highway patrol went to Swan Hill Drive minutes later for a vehicle accident; there were no serious injuries.
