Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 21-year-old man on a contempt-of-court warrant for the city of Whitefish as well as a Flathead County warrant.

Officers checked out a transient reported at the Whitefish library branch.

On Sunday evening, the department was kept busy with reports of trees, fires and power line problems from the storm.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old Whitefish man on a warrant for a felony probation violation out of Cascade County.
