Kalispell police are investigating the theft of about $850 worth of snakes. Last Thursday and again Wednesday night, serpents were taken from their cages at PETCO, according to the report. Among the snatched snakes were a boa and a python. The store would like the reptiles returned.

There's a good description of the person who stole a skateboard from a 12-year-old boy at the Woodland skate park Wednesday. He was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, had brown hair with blond streaks, and wore a black T-shirt. He was in a light blue Honda Civic with chrome wheels and tinted windows.

No one wanted to press charges after a fight at Michael's on U.S. 93 South.

A woman on Airport Road reported threatening calls from another woman.

A woman on Second Avenue East North reported that a strange man was in her house who had been there all day and wouldn't leave. Police learned that he is her husband.

There were several suicide threats around the valley, including one in Kalispell involving a woman with swords and a gun.

A CD player and CDs were stolen from a vehicle on Second Avenue West, but the owner did not "want a cop" to get involved. Car parts were stolen from a unit at Woodland Park Mini Storage.

Screaming and crying preceded a brother and sister being separated for the night on East Oregon Street.

Police were called to help with a disruptive parent at the junior high school.
