Elwin Eugene Johnson, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2005, at his home in Kalispell.

Elwin was born on Nov. 6, 1920, in Creston, to Joe and Maud Swim Johnson.

He retired from logging after working the woods for many, many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis E. Johnson of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Larry Johnson of Kalispell; and one daughter, Darlene D. Ruddy of Olympia, Wash.

At his request he has been cremated and private family services were held.
