Kalispell police

It was "paper, plastic or wallet" Friday afternoon at Rosauer's supermarket. A black billfold mysteriously appeared in one customer's shopping bag in the middle of a bunch of fruits and vegetables. The good-hearted soul turned the wandering wallet in to Kalispell police.

A man who looked plenty suspicious was reported peeking into vehicles in the parking lot of the Kalispell Center Mall. When asked just exactly what it was he thought he was doing, the peeper jumped into his own vehicle and took off.

A suspicious person was perceived to be resting his eyes on the library steps Friday evening.

A woman was arrested on DUI.

Criminal trespass in the ladies room of a downtown motel involved disorderly conduct by a woman who wasn't any lady. She was, however, fleet of feet and gone by the time police arrived.

A man accused of yelling profanities at a woman who was valiantly trying to parallel park on Main Street Saturday morning also made a quick getaway.

A dedicated Daily Inter Lake subscriber complained that his newspaper was being snatched from in front of his garage at least three days out of every week.

A couple attempted to return some items to a local hardware emporium without benefit of receipt Saturday afternoon. Turns out the duplicitous duo had done this act several times before. A store inventory showed that the ball water valves and circular saw blades in question had never actually been sold to anyone.
