The Montana Department of Environmental Quality issued the advisory Wednesday after vandalism was discovered at the city's 2 million-gallon water storage tank at the Cedar Creek Reservoir.
The vandal or vandals did not gain access to the water supply.
Five bacteriological samples came back clean, the state said, showing that the supply meets state drinking water quality standards. The city's water system meets all requirements of the Total Coliform Rule, the DEQ said.
A decision to end the health advisory came after the test results, an on-site visit by Kalispell field office representative Mike Kropp and a public notice published in the newspaper.
