Daniel Irvin Bell, 53

Daniel Irvin Bell, 53, formerly of Kalispell, passed away June 9, 2005, in Sunriver, Ore. He was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Portland, to Robert Grant and Janet Edna (Hays) Bell.

He grew up in Tigard, Ore., Lincoln City, Ore., and in Kalispell.

He graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell and attended two years at Flathead Valley Community College.

He moved to Vancouver, Wash., from Kalispell 10 years ago. He moved to central Oregon last year.

Daniel worked in the general construction industry, specializing in concrete finishing.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoying hunting, fishing and mountain biking.

He is survived by his daughters, Geri Louise Sampson of Milwaukie, Ore., and Toni Marie Lee of Vancouver, Wash.; brother, Jim Bell, of Tigard, Ore.; and sister, Nancy Bell, of Sunriver, Ore; as well as three grandchildren.

Privates services will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Deschutes Memorial Chapel in Bend, Ore., is handling arrangements.
