Mary Harriet (Grant) Schrock, 89, passed away June 11, 2005, at a Great Falls nursing home of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 7, 1916, in Terry.

In 1934, Mary married Lawrence Schrock in Terry. He died in 1992.

She worked as a surgical nurse at the Columbus Hospital in Great Falls.

Mary was the church pianist at the Swan Chapel in Swan Lake, as well as in her church in Cottonwood, Ariz.

She was a gardener, big-game hunter and a seamstress.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, fishing, riding horses, traveling and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Schrock; and a son, Gerald Schrock.

She is survived by her daughter, Lu Converse, of Cottonwood; son, Larry Schrock, of Great Falls; a brother, Grover Grant, of Farmington, Minn.; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, in the Croxford Rose Room of Croxford Funeral Home, Great Falls. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery in Clarksdale, Ariz., at a later date.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
