Vandals hit building in Hungry Horse

A building in the Hungry Horse Ranger Station compound in Hungry Horse was broken into and vandalized recently, prompting the involvement of CrimeStoppers.

Sometime the night of June 9, a warehouse building was broken into and vandalized with "significant damage," according to a press release from the Flathead National Forest.

Two motorcycles (1982 orange Suzukis) with an estimated value of $900 each were stolen.

Anyone with information related to this incident may be eligible for a cash reward, up to $1,000 upon arrest and conviction, by contacting CrimeStoppers at 752-8477.

Callers do not have to provide their names and calls are not traced or recorded. Tips also may be forwarded to the Flathead National Forest law enforcement division at 758-5267.
