Floyd B. 'Bud' Mitchell, 87
Floyd B. "Bud" Mitchell, 87, died Saturday, June 18, 2005, at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish. He worked as a log scaler for the Forest Service for many years. He is survived by his daughter, Charlene Paramo of Oregon.
A memorial service is tentatively set for later this week.

Kathren Johnson Kittredge, native of Whitefish, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Lyndonville, Vt., at the age of 67.
Born March 5, 1938, in Montana, in the town of Whitefish, she was the daughter of William and Camilla (Krecklow) Johnson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul P. Kittredge, to whom she was married nearly 45 years; he passed away July 20, 2001.
Kathren worked at the Ethan Allen plant in Orleans, Vt., and was an accomplished master chair weaver there.
She is survived by five children, Lorna Gaylor and husband Mike, of Barton Vt., (2949 Duck Pond Road 05822); Linda Lachance and husband, Tom, of Lyndonville, Vt.; Luella Kittredge of Puyallup, Wash.; Paul Kittredge Jr. and wife, Sonya, of Albany, Vt.; Deanna Simpson and husband, Glenn, of Fernley, Nev.; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Iola Winters, and husband, Charles, of Missoula; one brother, William Johnson, and wife, CiCi, of Kalispell; one sister-in-law, Leah Kittredge, of Beebe Plain, Vt.; nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ellen Barlow, and a brother, Thomas Johnson.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, at The United Church of Derby with the pastor, Dr. Frederick Barker, officiating.
