Whitefish police took reports about offended senses Monday night, when a noisy lawn mower caused discontent on Texas Avenue, loud cursing was the problem on Waverly Place and two northern pike left in a driveway on Minnesota Avenue communicated an unwelcome fish scent.

Someone launched a water balloon at a vehicle going past the cemetery and broke a side window.

There was evidence at the water-treatment plant that someone had been trying to open a door.
