The Kalispell Fire Department had a dozen calls. One was to a report of smoke in a basement on Fifth Avenue West. It turned out to be a natural-gas problem. No one wanted medical attention after a crash on Woodland Park Drive on Wednesday. The crew was needed at the Finish Line bar, where a patron had a medical crisis.

Evergreen, Smith Valley, South Kalispell and West Valley fire departments were notified about a car on fire in a shop on East Reserve Drive.

The Whitefish Fire Department went to an accident on Farm to Market Road that caused power lines to drape over a vehicle.
