Kalispell police arrested a man Monday morning for forgery after he was chased down by the Mountain West Bank vice president and a customer. Travis Kroemer, 21, of Kalispell, allegedly tried to cash a $900 check but ended up running until he was chased down. He is being held at the Flathead County jail until his initial court appearance.
On Sunday night, a woman reported that she was assaulted by another woman at the Rosauer's grocery store on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell.
Also late Sunday, there was a report of a vehicle hood lying in the middle of U.S. 93 north of Kalispell. The hood was reportedly hit by a passing vehicle.
