Kalispell fire department had six calls. One was to clean up oil spilled from a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East North. Another was to a car fire on First Avenue East North. A skateboarder at Woodland Park was taken by ambulance to the hospital.
Smith Valley fire department went to a slash burn at the end of Coon Hollow, to a hit gas line on Valley View Drive, and to a fire in trash containers in Kila.
Evergreen, South Kalispell, Smith Valley and West Valley fire departments were notified of a van fire on Ridgewood Drive Monday. It was quickly extinguished. Later, a burning roof on Scenic Drive turned out to be just a barbecue.
Creston fire department went to grass fire on Fairmont Road Monday.
