Police suspect youths in the burglary of the old Courthouse East building on Fifth Avenue East. Someone climbed a fence, broke a window and spilled elevator oil all over on the third floor. Toilet paper and napkins were also strewn on the floor. Attempted arson was suspected at first, but Detective Sgt. Brian Fulford believes it was strictly vandalism to a vacant building.

A woman reported a man threw something at her car in the alley behind First Avenue West. The window of a truck was broken on Fourth Avenue West. The cheese that was poured on a vehicle on Fourth Avenue West was believed to be nacho chili flavored, according to its owner.

No one remained in the Scoreboard parking lot after a fight was reported Tuesday.

A driver on West Idaho Street was arrested for his fourth DUI.

The intensity of a call about three men and a gun trying to break into a home was greatly reduced. There was no gun and everyone got a lecture from police.

A transient caused problems in the parking lot of Albertsons after earlier escapades in Evergreen.

Missing from a home on Fourth Avenue East is a television and five "genuine" fur coats. Missing from a vehicle on First Avenue East are prescription drugs.
