Fair-Mont-Egan fourth-graders raise funds

The fourth graders of Fair-Mont-Egan School are sponsoring a rummage sale fund-raiser today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school. The school is located at 797 Fairmont Road in Kalispell. Follow Montana 35 east from town and turn right on Fairmont across from Rocky Mountain Baptist Church.

Club holds Arts, Crafts, Flea Market today

The Ronan Women's Club holds its 19th annual Arts, Crafts and Flea Market today from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center. Proceeds benefit community projects.

Seminar explores 'Our American Constitution'

The Flathead County Chapter of the Republican Assembly offers a seminar titled, "Our American Constitution," by Rob Natelson, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the WestCoast Outlaw Hotel. The cost is $20 at the door and includes lunch.

St. Patty's Day Publ Crawl today in Troy

Troy's second annual St. Patty's Day Pub Crawl gets under way at 7 p.m. tonight. Participants will begin at Odie's Big Sky Cafe and complete the round of seven pubs to receive an engraved mug with the name, date and location of the Pub Crawl.

Registration is $12 per person, to be paid at Odie's Big Sky Cafe.

All proceeds go to the Troy Area Community Association (TACA), which in turn uses its funds to give back to the communities comprised of the Troy area. Funding for projects within the communities of Troy, Bull Lake or the Yaak may be requested from TACA by application.

Winter Classic continues today in Whitefish

The 2005 Winter Classic 20th continues through Sunday in Whitefish.

Today kicks off with a snow picnic on Big Mountain's north slopes-Gray Wolf Run, open to everyone; donations appreciated. Tonight, the Poker Run returns to Whitefish between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Purchase your first card at the Paddle & Axe; $10 per hand.

The Winter Classic, now in its 20th year, finishes off with the brunch Sunday at Whitefish Lake Restaurant between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Drop in for champagne and goodies cooked up by renowned valley chefs. Adults $12; children 12 and under $6.

Sunday night eight Whitefish restaurants team up with a community night, donating 10 percent of their evening's earnings to the Winter Classic. Dine at Wasabi Sushi Bar and Ginger Grill, 419 Wine and Oyster Bar, Truby's Wood fired Pizza, Mambo Italiano, Tupelo Grille, Shaker's Steak & Ale, and Paddle & Axe. Reservations are appreciated.

Monies raised are contributed to For the Children, Inc.

Auction benefits Montessori school

Children's House Montessori School of Whitefish plays host to its seventh annual Spring Auction benefit tonight at Grouse Mountain Lodge beginning at 6 p.m. and featuring silent and live auctions, fine food, a secret treasure chest and more. There is no cost to attend.

CHMS is a nonprofit organization that provides pre-school and kindergarten classes for children ages 2 to 5, and year-round child care for ages 2 to 10.

Mountain Brook Ladies Club sponsors a Bingo night from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Mountain Brook Community Library, 2353 Foothill Road. Admission $2 per person or $6 per family. Home-baked goods and crafts will also be for sale.
