Kalispell police
Kalispell police responded to a report of a robbery Saturday at 9:24 a.m. at the Movie Gallery on U.S. 93 South. A woman said a man in blue jeans, a dark blue top and teal-color ski cap ran up behind her and took a bank deposit bag.
He fled on foot towards Valley Glass. No arrest was made.
A woman motorist complained her car was struck by a paintball fired from a red Chevy truck with a diamond plate tool box. The shooter fled north bound on Main Street.
On Second Street East, officers arrested Scott Duane Schweigert, 43, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
A caller reported a person with a bloody nose was riding a bike down First Avenue West. He apparently had been drinking.
Just after 9 p.m. a woman complained that a group of kids in a black Pontiac tried to run her off the road at 11th Street and South Main.
A hit-and-run was reported at Airport Road and 18th Street when a man knocked down a stop sign then continued down the road. The driver later contacted the police and received a citation.
A caller alerted police that some boys were on the roof of Noble Finance on Main Street. He said the boss would try to detain them but the boys jumped down and took off on bikes.
One of the jumpers was described as having a blond, Afro-style hair do.
At 5: 21 p.m., Johnnie Allen Cook Jr., 52, was charged with criminal trespass at Sykes Grocery. At 7: 40 p.m., Cook was charged with criminal trespass at Rosauers.
A family on Sixth Avenue East had double trouble. A man reported that his 16-year-old son had barricaded himself in his bedroom and his 14-year-old daughter was arguing with her mother.
