Columbia Falls police are stepping up patrol on Ninth Street West after somebody tossed a rock at a house window there.

It was his fifth DUI, and the 36-year-old man was arrested for it when police stopped him at Martha and Diane roads Saturday night.

Screaming and yelling drew the attention of a neighbor, and a police-assisted separation for an arguing couple Sunday morning.

Officers are investigating a kicked-in door and resulting assault early Sunday.
