Flathead County Sheriff's deputies received a report Monday of a dirt deposit made into Flathead Bank's night deposit box on Osborne Ave.

Someone dropped off a U-Haul reported as stolen from North Carolina at the Miller Feed U-Haul on Montana 35. No one at the business knew who had dropped off the trailer.

A woman complained that a neighbor's pit bull attacked her cat on her deck and then tried to attack her. She said the cat's back was most likely broken.

A neighbor shot another neighbor's cat on Ashley Lake Road when it wandered on to the neighbor's property.

Deputies received a complaint from a resident of Mountain Village Apartments who paid $50 and gave documents to someone who claimed to be an attorney. Nothing has happened in four months on her unlawful discharge lawsuit.

A resident of Browns Meadow Road decided to slow down a Fed Ex driver by pulling his backhoe across the road Monday. The driver complained that this is the third incident with the backhoe owner.

A resident of Nicholson Drive reported that a change bank containing $3,000 was stolen sometime in the last week.

The Badrock Fire Department responded to a grass fire around 5 a.m. at Columbia Falls Stage Road and Vista View Trail.

Deputies investigated a stolen '94 white Isuzu Rodeo. It was last seen in Whitefish with the keys in the ignition, a half tank of gas and a whitewater kayak inside.

A woman on Willowglen Dr. told the Sheriff's Department that she discovered her former sister-in-law had forged several checks on her bank account.

People living on Landmark Lane found a very tiny black bear cub near their house. The little fellow refused to leave after several hours.
