Flathead County Sheriff

| March 16, 2005 1:00 AM

Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a call Monday night from South Cedar Drive. There, people on rollerblades were carrying mattresses to a home. Oddly, that aroused suspicion. Deputies found that the movers believed the used mattresses would look better in their home than they did in the dumpster where they were found; nothing illegal about that.

A 6-year-old boy was lost and found on Ridgewood Drive Monday.

A vehicle hit a building on Columbia Falls Stage Road.

The man trying to get into a home on Mountain Meadows Road was the resident's ex-boyfriend. The woman who wouldn't leave a home on East Evergreen Drive was the resident's mother.

On-line theft from a savings account was reported.

A snowmobile, a four-wheeler and tools were stolen from West Valley Drive. Another four-wheeler was stolen from the Northridge area, where enterprising thieves had to push it out of the garage because it had no keys and no battery.
