Tommie Lee Davis, 69

Tommie Lee Davis, 69, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005, with relatives at his side. He was born June 27, 1935, to Homer and Alice (VanAlstine) Davis in Libby.

He attended numerous small country schools between Kalispell and Libby.

Tommie was united in marriage to Beverly Jaha in 1978 in Kalispell. They enjoyed each others' companionship for many years. A couple of their most favorite things to do were to play with their dog Jamie and then Magic, and planting posies all around the yard.

When Tommie was not enjoying Beverly, he was off maintaining vehicles for the Flathead County Road Department.

Tommie was a member of the Eagles Lodge for over 30 years and enjoyed telling stories about when he was a boy. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Beverly passed away in 1997.

He is survived by his two sons, Tim Davis and wife, Mary Anne, and Joe Davis and wife, Nancy, all of Kalispell; daughters Diane Schock and husband, Randy, of Medford, Ore., and Sharie DeHart and husband, Randy, of Seattle; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Tommie will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 18, at Johnson Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Daniel Lambert officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from noon to 6 p.m., at Johnson Mortuary. Burial will follow at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
