Whitefish police took a report of a vehicle stolen and found twice in the Whitefish area Monday. The 1994 Isuzu Rodeo was first reported stolen at about 2:30 on Central Avenue. It was found later in the day on Central Avenue. The keys were gone, though. When the owner went home to get keys, the vehicle vanished again. It was later found in the alley between Third and Fourth streets.

The chrome insert from a vehicle hitch was stolen on Minnesota Avenue.

Both sides of a divorced couple called police three times, each making pre-emptive reports about situations that the other person might report.

A man was arrested for theft of cash at Mike's Conoco Tuesday.

A car alarm that sounded for more than an hour prompted three complaints Tuesday.
