Virginia (Cyr) Millspaugh, 67, of Rathdrum, Idaho, passed away March 7, 2005, at Life Care Center of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, surrounded by family and friends, after a battle with lung cancer.

She was born June 11, 1937, in Kalispell to Charles and Lonelva (Lebert) Cyr. Virginia graduated from Flathead County High School in 1955 and resided in the Flathead Valley until 1964, when she moved to the Spokane area.

After getting married to Nels Millspaugh in May 1973, they moved to Missoula, where they lived until returning in 1975 to Post Falls, Idaho, where they lived until 1991. After a 10-year stay in Kalispell, they returned to Idaho to live in Rathdrum.

Virginia will be remembered by her love of family and especially the grandchildren. Her flower gardening skills during the summer time resulted in the adornment of the homes of relatives and close friends.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Nels Millspaugh, of Rathdrum; daughters, Kathy McKinley-Lewis, Post Falls, and Yvonne Millspaugh, Spokane; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Shari McKinley, Coeur d'Alene, and Larry and Vicki Millspaugh, Seattle; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Beth Cyr, Joppa, Md.; grandchildren, Kyle and Dyland, Seattle, Trevor, Coeur d'Alene, Tyler and Alysha, Spokane, and Marcus and Jackie, Seattle; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life was held March 11 by family and close friends at the family home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice and Life Care Center for their loving and compassionate care.

Memorials may be sent to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N. Government Way, Hayden ID 83835.
