Irvin Moen, 52

Irvin Moen, 52, passed away in his sleep early Wednesday, March 16, 2005, with his wife sleeping beside him.

Irvin fought severe mental illness most of his life but was victorious because he died of natural causes.

He was born in Kalispell on Jan. 18, 1953, to Harold and Alice (Sturm) Moen.

He married Wren Wallis on July 2, 1976. They resided in Kalispell.

Irvin is survived by his wife, Wren Moen of Kalispell; his parents, Harold and Alice (Sturm) Moen, of Kalispell; his sister, Joann Perrett and Dave Wilson, and niece, Annette Perry and Rick and family, of Washington; many loved relatives residing outside the Flathead Valley; sister-in-law, Wilene Bridger, and Jim, and their children, Joel and Paula of Kalispell; and a host of friends.

Visitation for Irvin will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 19, at the Easthaven Baptist Church with memorial services to follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Daniel Lambert officiating.
