Flathead County Sheriff's Office was called to Swan Retreat, where a woman reported her 65-year-old husband out of control. Deputies found the situation to be quite different than reported and arrested the wife for partner assault.

An out-of-control 10-year-old child prompted parents to call for help, not for the first time, on East Evergreen Drive.

A man said he'd be dead if he hadn't been behind a trash container at the green-box site near Columbia Falls. He said a man was harassing people there and ran over the victim's bag of cans.

A man reported that his ex-wife was stealing his possessions from his mother's house.

Two weeks of listening to barking dogs is taking a toll on a resident on Nicholson Drive.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at Columbia Mountain trailhead. The intruder broke a window to get to it. Money and medicine were stolen on Montana 40. On Flathead Drive, 2-by-4s vanished. Checks from a closed account were forged. A boy was arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Another vehicle was reported stolen from Classic Auto. Someone is using a Lake Avenue resident's credit card without permission. Fraud was reported on U.S. 2 east of Kalispell.

Residents on Shady Lane returned home after eight months to find almost everything is missing from their house.

A resident on Ninth Street West reported a familiar man trying to get into the house.

An assault was reported at Last Chance Gulch. A man wandering around Martin City caused suspicion, but he did no harm. Snowmobiling trespassers were reported on Springcreek Road.
