Kalispell police are investigating a spate of vehicle thefts. Stolen vehicles are not common, but four were reported Tuesday. One is a 1993 green Mercedes, taken from Third Avenue West North with the keys left inside. On Third Street East, it was a 1988 Chevy Scottsdale truck that was later found to have wound up in a private driveway on Fifth Avenue East; it was towed from there. On Second Street East, an owner is missing 1992 red Pontiac Grand Am. A black Chevy Lumina van reported stolen on First Avenue East North was located later Tuesday. Later in the day, a 2005 Ford Explorer was reported stolen, but that is a rental car.

Kalispell police also arrested three teenagers after an alleged beer heist overnight. Two boys and a girl were found near Home Depot at about 4 a.m. Simultaneous reports sent sheriff's deputies and police to the area. First came a report of people acting suspiciously by running towards Petco and hiding something under a tree. A burglary alarm sounded at Ole's Country Store on U.S. 93 nearby when a front door broke and a report came from Tri-City Quick Stop that someone had stolen beer. Beer was found dropped in the parking lot of Home Depot. A fourth suspect is sought in the burglary.

Condiments that dressed a vehicle on Northern Loop were ketchup and eggs. A house on North Riding Road was also hit with eggs.

Dogs barked and then a resident on Second Avenue East North found the garage door open and lights on in the car.

Officers talked to kids who reportedly hitchhiked on Third Avenue East. Also of concern was three little girls knocking on doors on Third Avenue West, asking if there were any jobs they could do.

A witness was concerned about a man who appeared to be focusing guns on Idaho Street from a nearby business. Police found they were only paint guns and he the man did nothing illegal.

Someone found money and turned it in.

A domestic disturbance happened on Second Avenue East North. On Liberty Street, a woman wanted police to know that her ex-boyfriend is harassing her boyfriend.

The suspect in the theft of a new battery isolator from a car on Darlington is the man who tried to sell the same item to a parts store.

A man on First Avenue East was charged with DUI and other offenses.

On College Avenue, a neighbor reportedly took a resident's window and installed it in his own home.

The front door was broken at Hair Affair.
