Rehberg to visit Kalispell today, then Seeley Lake

Rep. Denny Rehberg, R-Mont., stops in Kalispell today and Seeley Lake Thursday.

At noon today Rehberg will receive an award from the National Association of Manufacturers at a luncheon at the WestCoast Kalispell Center Hotel. Rehberg will receive an award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence.

Columbia Falls Aluminum Company is sponsoring the luncheon.

Rehberg moves on to City Hall at 1:30 p.m. to meet City Manager Jim Patrick and Mayor Pam Kennedy. They will then tour the city's wastewater treatment plant.

Kalispell is in the midst of planning an $11.3 million expansion to increase the plant's capacity.

The congressman begins his day in Seeley Lake at 9 a.m. Thursday with a tour of Pyramid Mountain Lumber before moving on to Seeley-Swan High School for a Spirit of Discovery Award presentation. He'll then tour Lubrecht Forest at noon.
