Kalispell police received a report of a suspicious vehicle driving near Peterson School Friday afternoon. A caller said the man in the vehicle first appeared to be watching someone and then drove slowly around the entire school area. When police arrived, the vehicle was gone and no registration was found on the reported license plate.

Late Friday night two arrests were made at a Kalispell motel. A man was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child and a teenage girl was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and a probation violation.

Police are looking for a heavyset male in connection with an attempted burglary at a store on Fifth Street early Saturday morning. The alarm went off and the glass door was broken, but the thief did not get in.
